It is poised to creating knowledge through Human Development, and Total Man Concept is driven curriculum, employing innovative, leading-edge, teaching and learning methods, research and professional services that promote integrated, life-applicable, life-transforming education relevant to the context of Science, Technology and Human Capacity Building. Covenant University has been involved in sustainable development programs with a vibrant Centre for Research Innovation and Discovery (CUCRID). Covenant’s 301+ most recent ranking by the Times Higher Education (THE) for United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was based on her scaled and pre-rounded performance on Sustainable Development Goal 17 (SDG 17– Partnership for the Goals) and her top three SDGs. These included the SDG 4 (Quality Education); SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions); and SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing). The university recently got enlisted among top universities with a grant to host Africa Centre of Excellence. The university has four colleges: Engineering, Science and Technology; Business and Social Sciences; and Leadership Development with programs running at the postgraduate levels for Masters and PhDs. The university, through the International Office, has strong linkages with institutions across the globe and has won several grants and awards. The mobility scheme surely will benefit from the existing ties with other universities both at home and abroad.
